In diesem Musik-Workshop dreht sich alles um das Komponieren und Spielen mit Zufall: Gemeinsam erkunden wir kreative Methoden, mit denen aus spontanen Ideen, unerwarteten Entscheidungen und kollektiver Improvisation neue Klangwelten entstehen. Ob mit Stimme, Instrument oder Alltagsgeräuschen – hier wird experimentiert, kombiniert und gemeinsam Musik geschaffen.

Im Mittelpunkt steht nicht Perfektion, sondern Neugier, Mut zum Ausprobieren und der Spaß am gemeinsamen Klang. Du wirst erleben, wie aus Zufall Struktur entstehen kann – und wie inspirierend es ist, Musik im Moment zu erschaffen.

Die im Workshop entwickelten Ergebnisse können im Rahmen der Ausstellungen des „United we Create“ im Wintersemester präsentiert werden.

United We Create ist ein interdisziplinäres Kreativprojekt für Studierende an allen vom Studierendenwerk Niederbayern/Oberpfalz betreuten Hochschulstandorten.

Zum Workshopleiter:
Der Workshop wird geleitet von Marco Fresser. Marco ist Musiker und erfahrener Improvisationskünstler, der sich intensiv mit experimentellen Kompositionsmethoden und kollektiven Musikprozessen beschäftigt. In seinen Workshops schafft er Räume, in denen Teilnehmende ohne Druck kreativ sein können und neue Zugänge zur Musik entdecken. Sein Ansatz verbindet spielerische Offenheit mit künstlerischer Tiefe und lädt dazu ein, gewohnte Hör- und Denkweisen zu hinterfragen.

Wer kann mitmachen?
Egal, ob du bereits musikalische Erfahrung hast oder einfach neugierig bist – hier bist du genau richtig! Der Workshop richtet sich an alle Studierenden, die Lust haben, Klang zu erforschen und gemeinsam kreativ zu sein.
Teilnehmen können exklusiv Studierende, die aktuell an einer Hochschule eines STWNO-Standorts immatrikuliert sind.

Was benötige ich?
Bring, wenn möglich, dein Instrument mit! Einige Instrumente (Schlagzeug, E-Piano, Gesangsmikrofone) sind vor Ort vorhanden.

This music workshop is all about composing and playing with coincidence: Together, we'll explore creative methods that generate new soundscapes from spontaneous ideas, unexpected decisions, and collective improvisation. Whether with voice, instrument, or everyday sounds – we'll experiment, combine, and create music together.

The focus isn't on perfection, but on curiosity, the courage to try things out, and the joy of shared sound. You'll experience how structure can emerge from chance – and how inspiring it is to create music in the moment.

The results developed in the workshop can be presented as part of the "United We Create" exhibitions during the winter semester.

United We Create is an interdisciplinary creative project for students at all university locations supported by the Studentenwerk Niederbayern/Oberpfalz (Student Union of Lower Bavaria/Upper Palatinate).

About the workshop leader:

The workshop will be led by Marco Fresser. Marco is a musician and experienced improvisational artist who is deeply involved with experimental composition methods and collective music processes. In his workshops, he creates spaces where participants can be creative without pressure and discover new ways of experiencing music. His approach combines playful openness with artistic depth and invites participants to question familiar ways of listening and thinking.

Who can participate?

Whether you already have musical experience or are simply curious – this is the perfect place for you! The workshop is aimed at all students who are interested in exploring sound and being creative together.

Participation is exclusively open to students currently enrolled at a university within the STWNO network.

Monday, May 11, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

City Hall Side Room (entrance at the rear, walk past the building on the left towards the City Hall Park)

What do I need?

Bring your instrument if possible! Some instruments (drums, electric piano, vocal microphones) will be available on site.
