The Cafeteria Maschinebau offers 71 seats and was opened in December 2019. As a highlight, it offers its own lounge area in a noble wooden look, which - equipped with sockets - invites you to work or relax.

The Cafeteria Maschinenbau will close at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2026, due to a staff meeting.
Since the start of the semester on 16 March 2026, the Cafeteria Maschinenbau has been operating as a so-called food serving canteen.
Each food serving cafeteria offers two hot meals every day. The meals are based on the canteen menu. The pricing is also the same as in the canteens, with discounted prices for students and staff.
The aim of the food serving in the cafeterias is to reduce waiting times in the canteens and at the same time offer an additional, sometimes closer alternative for lunch.
Location
The Cafeteria Maschinenbau is located in Building A (Maschinenbau) directly across from the Mensa building.
