Behavior rules

We are pleased to welcome you again in somewhat greater numbers in our canteens and cafeterias for the winter semester 2021/2022! Please note, however, that the applicable corona and safety measures must still be observed. UPDATE: 01/17/2022:

We summarize once again what you have to consider when entering our gastronomic facilities.

1. Entry only with 2G-proof

According to the amendment of the Bavarian Infection Protection Measures Ordinance (14. BaylfsMV) of 16.11.2021, our employees are obliged to check your identity and 2G proof (proof of a Corona vaccination or recovery) in the canteen or cafeteria. You cannot access the canteen or cafeteria without 2G proof! Please have your proof of identity and 2G ready to avoid queuing if possible.

2. FFP2-mask obligation up to the seat

It is mandatory to wear an FFP2 mask inside the premises. When eating indoors, you can remove the FFP2 mask at your seat. FFP2 masks must be worn on all traffic routes, even if you are only picking up your food to-go.

3. 1.5 meter minimum distance in indoor areas

For your own protection and the protection of others, please keep a minimum distance of 1.5 meters.

4. Follow the given path

In order to avoid unnecessary contacts, please follow the given path by following the arrows and barriers.

5. Cash payment is not possible

At the cash desks, you can conveniently pay without cash by EC card, credit card or NFC. Reversing machines for student ID cards are usually available in the foyers of the canteens and cafeterias or in the immediate vicinity.

The Bavarian state government has suspended these measures for the time being:

6. Incidence above 1,000: no indoor consumption possible

Due to rising incidences in Bavaria, stricter corona measures ("regional hotspot regulation") apply in cities and districts with incidences above 1,000. Public life is largely shut down. The canteens and cafeterias of the Studentenwerk are also affected. Studentwerks canteens and cafeterias will be able to offer food service only for take-out ("to-go") if the incidence exceeds 1,000 or will be forced to close. Indoor consumption is not permitted if this threshold is exceeded.

We will inform you about the currently open canteens and cafeterias on our website:

If you take these behaviors into account and internalize them, your next trip to the canteen  or cafeteria will be easy!

Thank you for your cooperation
