By setting up a quality-management system according to the regulations of the universally valid standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2008, we intend to systematically restructure our internal processes and procedures to gain efficiency and to better accommodate the needs of our students.

The effectiveness and functionality of our QM system are confirmed regularly by an independant certifying company.

As a first step the gastronomy department, being the largest department in the Student Union, was certified in 2012.

One year later, the housing department has also received that status in 2014, the certification was extended to the other departments such as BAföG, cultural promotion and social counseling.

In 2018, we have received the recertification after transition to the norm ISO 9001:2015. Therefore, all departments of the Studentenwerk are allowed to carry the following quality management label:
