While universities facilitate studying, science and research, Studierendenwerke help students to cope with everyday life.

We actively support students in Straubing:

• we provide food and drinks in a canteen and a cafeteria - right on the banks of the Danube,
• we process BAföG applications,
• we provide advice in case of uncertainties about studying as well as social, economic and personal difficulties,
• we promote the integration of international students in Straubing by offering an international tutoring program,
• we rent out 16 places to live to students in two rented apartments and are building a new student residence with a total of 85 places to live for students at the TUM Campus Straubing,
• we organize German-French exchange programs with the Crous Clermont Auvergne.
