The residential complex, which has been administered since 1980 by the student union, provides all in all 95 dwelling places directly at the Danube quay in the middle of the old town. The buildings constructed in the previous century were originally used as salt barns, whereby the central building was included as the head building and passage for Germany’s first stud bridge in 1869. In 89 flats, there is a private bathroom and, in the shared living flats for two and four people, the occupants share one bathroom at a time. The existing kitchens are for common use.
A television room provides the opportunity to get to know each other and get together in a pleasant ambience. In the second common room, there is a table tennis table and a billiard table for use.
It is possible to do the laundry in a room with washing machines and dryers for collective use on the ground floor of the house. There are parking spaces for bicycles.
