The TUM Donaucafé Straubing is the newest gastronomic facility of the Studierendenwerk at the TUM Campus Straubing. With a generously sized outdoor area, it offers optimal conditions for an extended break outdoors.

The TUM Donaucafé will close at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2026, due to a staff meeting.
From April 13, 2026, this cafeteria will become a so-called food serving cafeteria.
Each food serving cafeteria offers two hot meals every day. The meals are based on the canteen menu. The pricing is also the same as in the canteens, with discounted prices for students and staff.
The aim of the food serving in the cafeterias is to reduce waiting times in the canteens and at the same time offer an additional, sometimes closer alternative for lunch.

The TUM Donaucafé Straubing is located in the TUM building in Uferstraße directly next to the Danube.

Special features
You can now order your coffee-to-go in our cafeterias in the relevo-Cup without a deposit. Please think about a timely return at the cash registers or return stations! In addition, the deposit on STWNO cups will be reduced from € 3.50 to just € 1.00. But please return your cups, because this is the only way the reusable system can work.
